Hoofdregel: oordeel NIET!

De belangrijkste regel bij brainstormen is ‘uitstel van oordeel’. Kritiek (en zelfs lovende kritiek) op de ideeën van anderen is niet toegestaan. Alle ideeën zijn welkom; van gewone tot vergezochte ideeën, van voor de hand liggende tot absurde ideeën en van onmogelijke tot slimme ideeën. Het gaat om het verzamelen van een zo groot mogelijke verscheidenheid.

Zodra er kritiek wordt geuit, belemmert dit het vrije denken en durven deelnemers niet meer snel een bijdrage te leveren, terwijl zij elkaar juist moeten motiveren. De spontaniteit mag geenszins belemmerd worden. De sfeer moet prettig zijn en iedereen moet zich veilig voelen om een individuele bijdrage te leveren. Deze spelregels zijn er niet om te beknotten maar om alle barrières weg te halen, zodat er open denkruimte ontstaat. 

Pendant le brainstorming, si quelqu'un ose proposer qu'il faut que nous "Oies Africiaines" on se focalise exclusivement sur la lutte contre les fraudes electorales en Ouganda, au Malawi ainsi qu'au Rwanda. Je veux le faire comprendre que ce sujet n'est pas le nôtre et que cela n'a rien à faire dans ce groupe et je vais moi-même faire des propositions plus adaptées et plus concrètes à notre situation comme l'éducation, l'eau, la santé et etc. . La bonne réponse est (juste des exemples): je le fais ainsi en critiquant, en lui conseillant de faire des propositions adéquates, je note et je dis juste mes propres propostions, je note et je ne dis rien sur ce que je pense, je veux d'abord le soutenir et aprés lui poser des questions pour qu'il mérite mes admirations ou non. etc.

Règles d'or: Brainstormen

1. Suspendez votre jugement - toutes les idées sont bonnes, acceptées et écrites ; les critiques peuvent éventuellement être apportées plus tard.

2. Concentrez-vous sur la quantité - visez autant d'idées que possible, tout est bienvenu.

3. Laissez-vous aller - passez facilement d'une idée à l'autre et pensez à voix haute.

4. Faites du stop - emparez-vous des idées des autres et appliquez la synergie ; complétez-vous, continuez sur ce que l'autre dit et travaillez vers des solutions surprenantes.
