1. We only drink water in class

What are Stative verbs
(don't look in the book)

What is the difference with a Dynamic verb?

If you have to write down a rule for Stative and Dynamic verbs?

1. Stative verbs refer to a state and condition. The others are action verbs.
2. Stative verbs are basically action verbs. Dynamic verbs are also.

4. Stative verbs can NEVER be Present Continuous.

Direct Questions

- Dutch way of asking questions (you can laugh now)

Indirect Questions

- ''Nice'' and polite questions

- You can take the question literally and just answer with ''yes/nah'' 

- 

This is a good indirect question:

1. Where are you going?
2. May I ask where are you going?

Direct question

1. Can I say that my favourite colour is orange.
2. What is you favourite colour?
3. Isn't your favourite colour orange?

Example of a direct question?

Can you give me an exmaple of a Indirect question?

A game

1. Pair up (15 minutes)

2. You have (at least) 2 rounds

3. One of you thinks of a famous person in your head (MJ, Santa)

4. In round 1: the person who guesses can only ask Direct Questions, but the answers can only be yes or no.
Then switch roles

5. In round 2: the person who guesses can only ask indirect questions, but the answers can be more elaborate!
