Future tenses

To be going to	plannen voor in de toekomst voorspellingen met bewijs I am going to clean my room today	am/is/are + going to + ww
Will (won't)	beloftes / iets aanbieden/ voorspellingen zonder bewijs we will the football competition!	will (not) + ww

Q. Will I get married?                                                     
A. No, you won't.

Q. Will I ever have children?                   
A. Yes, you will have five of them.

Q. Will I always keep my luscious locks of hair?
A. No, you will go bald.

WILL + infinitive

We gebruiken deze vorm voor:
- voorspellingen (niet op basis van feiten)
I think he'll end up dying alone, because he's got bad personal hygiene.

- Spontane beslissingen op het moment van spreken

I'll buy you another drink.

- Om een voorstel, belofte of dreigement te maken

You look tired. I'll finish the dishes for you.

I will do my best to help you.

SHALL + infinitive

Als je iets wilt aanbieden, kun je een vraag stellen met
shall + I/we + werkwoord zonder to

Shall I buy the tickets?
Shall we take the train to Glasgow?

To be going to + infinitive

- Als je iets van plan bent/de bedoeling/intentie hebt om iets in de toekomst te doen.

I am going to watch a film with my grandma.

- Voorspellingen met bewijs/op basis van feiten.

The clouds are dark and grey. It's going to rain.

1. Vaste afspraak volgens schema/rooster --> zo kort mogelijk! (he/she/it +s)

2. Is het een ongeorganiseerd plan? --> going to + ww

3. Is het een georganiseerd plan? --> to be + verb +ing

4. Is het een toekomstvoorspelling/belofte? 

--> will + ww

5. Voorspelling gaat gebeuren op een bepaalde tijd -->  will+ be+ww+ ing
