Step by Step Instrucations 

Step 1: Place cups on tray. 

Step 2: Create the volcano structure using clay surrounding the cups. 

Step 3: Place the Film canister inside of the structure. 

Step 4: Mix baking soda, white vinegar, and food coloring 

Step 5: Watch the chemical reaction

Group Assignments 

1. Find your small group. 
2. Discuss presentation of your volcano. (What will it look like? What materials do you need?)
3. Who is in charge of each part?  

Create a detailed outline of your plan

1. List materials needed 

2. Write hypothesis

3. Use pictures to show each step of the experiment. 

Conclusion:

What did you expect to happen?

What actually happened? 

Where you correct? Why or why not?
