The knowns

Jack the ripper was a serial killer who murderd 5 woman in the whitechapel district of London in 1888. The ripper murdered 5 female prostitutes all within a mile of eachother.  He was so different from the other murderers in the area becuase he brutalty mutilated the bodys, and did so with exstensive knowledge of the human anatomy. The ripper also taunted the people of london by sending written letters taunting the police of his victimsmand future intentions.

The unknowns

The true identity of who the ripper was, and his reson behind the 5 brutal murders in London are still unkown till this day. Many many theories of who the ripper was have been developed since the tragedies of 1888. They also never found out who was writing the letters,if the killer was a man or a women, and if there was only one.

Theories

Many theories have been developed as to who the Ripper really was. Some people think it was one of the 2 immigrants of the names Aaron and Micheal. People believed it to be one of them becuase of their criminal and phycotic pasts, and the fact that they are new just like the new types of brutal murders never seen before in London.Another theory is that a doctor was getting revenge on the Porstitutes because of the disease he contracted from them. And last is the theory of Queen Elizabeth's grandson who was suposibly killing all 5 women who knew of his afair resulting in a child who could potentially bring down the monarchy.

Who do I think it was?

I believe that Jack the Ripper was really a man named Joseph Barnett. He was Mary's  "boyfriend" at the time of the killings. I think it makes perfect sense that joseph killed the 4 victims to warn Mary to stop her  prostetution.He wanted her to stop, but it was her only way of earning money when joseph lost his job. Him then killing Mary when she failed to stop makes perfect sense. This is the only theory that perfectly explains the sudden stop of the murders, Therefore making it the most reliable.
