Today       Present Continuous

- 'I can describe what people are doing' = Ik kan beschrijven wat mensen aan het doen zijn.

• Present simple; tegenwoordige tijd - feiten en gewoonten. I walk to school every day.
• Future; toekomende tijd. I am going to walk to school in a few minutes.
• Daar komt nu de tegenwoordige tijd in duurvorm bij: Present continuous - I am walking to school at the moment.

When to use which one?

Present simple

Gebruik: Bij feiten en gewoontes.

I walk to school every day.

Vorm: Infinitive (+s bij he/she/it)

Present continuous

Gebruik: Wanneer iets NU gebeurt of aan de gang is.

I am walking to school at this moment

Vorm: am/are/is + infinitive + -ing
