Today we are talking about:
Slide 1 - Slide
Spelling rules: short adjective
Add -er to short adjectives
(small -> smaller)
Add -r if the adjective ends in -e
(safe -> safer)
Double the consonant if the adjective ends in a vowel and a consonant
(big -> bigger)
If the adjective ends in -y, we change the -y into -ier
(funny -> funnier)
