Als je in het Engels een werkwoord in de verleden tijd wilt zetten dan doe je dat door er -ED achter te zetten. 


to walk --> walked
to smile --> smiled
to cry --> cried


Bij sommige werkwoorden telt die regel niet. Ze zijn ONREGELMATIG
Daarom moet je ze leren. (Rij 2).


to be --> was
to have --> had
to fly --> flew


Wat zijn Irregular Verbs?

Hetzelgde geldt voor het voltooid deelwoord. Ook hier komt er -ED achter het werkwoord.


to walk --> have/has walked
to smile --> have/has smiled
to cry --> have/has cried


Bij de  ONREGELMATIGE werkwoorden moet je het voltooid deelwoord leren. (Rij 3).
