In politics, a political agenda is a list of subjects or problems (issues) to which government officials as well as individuals outside the government are paying serious attention to at any given time.

  • Demonstratie: een groep mensen die bij elkaar komt om ergens tegen te protesteren of om aandacht te vragen voor een probleem.
  • Petitie: een oproep aan volksvertegenwoordigers om een bepaalde politieke beslissing te nemen of een probleem op te lossen
  • Burgerinitiatief: Initiatief van burgers om een bepaald onderwerp op de agenda van de Tweede Kamer te krijgen. Als ten minste 40.000 mensen het initiatief ondertekenen, moet het onderwerp in de Tweede Kamer worden besproken.

The highest form of freedom, according to liberals, is individual freedom. The primary role of the government is to provide the individual with the space to develop to their full potential. Liberal parties are almost always on the right side of the political spectrum.
