De imperative is een gebiedende wijs
je gebruikt het om iemand een opdracht, 
verzoek of instructie te geven.

Imperative
Hoe maak je het?

Je gebruikt de infinitief zonder “to”:
 • Sit down. (Ga zitten.)
 • Open the door. (Doe de deur open.)
 • Be quiet. (Wees stil.)

Negatieve imperative (zeggen wat iemand níét moet doen):
Gebruik “Don’t” + het werkwoord:
 • Don’t run. (Niet rennen.) 
• Don’t be late. (Kom niet te laat.)
