Read in silence for 20mins

Only book/pen/paper on your desk.

Write down any words that you do not know.  We will dicuss them afterwards.

Time begins when everybody has started reading.

Dictation

You need: Pen and paper

Listen to me read out a passage from a news article.

Write down what you hear.

Think about interpunction (Capital letters, commas, full stops..).

There will be 7 sentences.

I will read slowly and repeat every sentence minimum two times.

Doorstep scammers

In pairs - make a script

One person is the scammer

One person is the elderly home owner

Record the conversation (2 mins)

Hand in the script and recording in Teams.
