Adjectives

We use adjectives to say something about a noun. 

Examples:

• This is an awesome product!
• What I like best about my bike, is that it is green.
• I wouldn't go see it, it was a terrible film.

If you can answer the question: What kind of ....?, you are dealing with an adjective.

Adverbs

We use adverbs to say something about verbs, adjectives and other adverbs.

Examples:

• We calmly waited for 10 minutes, but still they didn't help us.
• This is an extremely expensive car.
• She did it very quickly.

If you can answer the question: How/in what way does it happen?, you are dealing with an adverb.
