The Zoo assignment

• Each group member makes 2 animal passports
  
  
• per team member 1 vertebrate (chordate) and 1 invertebrate
• Each vertebrate animal has to be from a different class
• Each invertebrate animal has to be from a different phylum or class
• For each animal you make a key with 5 or 6 other animals of your choice
  
  
• You make a team website with the passports
• Counts 3x in PO grade 2

What needs to be on the animal passports

• Photograph of the animal in the zoo (with group members in the picture)
  
• English name animal
  
• Dutch name animal
  
• Latin name animal
  
• To which kingdom/phylum/class/order/family/genus/species does it belong (internet or ad encyclopaedia)
  
• Why does this animal belong to this group?
  
• Where does it live?
  
• What does it eat?
  
• How does it live? (in groups alone etc)
