Seed germinates = begins to grow
Root comes out first
After the root the stem with some leaves will follow.
A seedling has emerged from the seed.

Plant starts growing, producing more leaves and growing larger stems and roots.

At some point the plant starts to reproduce.
The plant makes flowers, these later change into fruit.
This fruit will contain seeds, from which new plants can grow.
