Leprechaun
In Ireland, there was a small, sneaky creature called a leprechaun. He wore a green hat and had a pot of gold he liked to keep safe.

One day, a boy named Liam found the leprechaun and caught him. The leprechaun promised Liam three wishes if he let him go. Liam wanted the leprechaun's pot of gold, and the leprechaun showed him where it was.
But the leprechaun warned Liam that being too greedy could have bad consequences. Liam didn't listen and on his way back home, he dropped the pot of gold and lost it all.
Liam learned that it's not good to be too greedy, and the leprechaun kept guarding his pot of gold and playing tricks on people.

Find your own luck...
The Irish believe that some things can make good things happen, and they call this "luck." They think these things can bring luck:

Four-Leaf Clover: A special clover with four leaves is lucky.
Horseshoe: A horseshoe hung above a door can protect against bad things and bring good luck.
Shamrock: Wearing a shamrock on St. Patrick's Day can bring good luck.
Claddagh Ring: A special ring can show love and loyalty.
Celtic Knots: Special designs with knots can bring good luck and protection.

But remember, luck means different things to different people, and these things are just symbols of good fortune, not promises.
