PRESENT SIMPLE

We gebruiken de present simple als iets altijd, vaak, regelmatig, soms of nooit gebeurt.

Zinnen: 

1. I / you / we / they + hele ww
2. he / she / it + hele ww + s (shit regel) 

• I live in a village.
  
• She practices karate once a week.
  
• It rains a lot in the fall.

PRESENT SIMPLE

We gebruiken de present simple als iets altijd, vaak, regelmatig, soms of nooit gebeurt.

Vraagzinnen: Do / does + ow + hele ww

• I feel good. - Do I feel good?
  
• He looks happy. - Does he look happy?

PRESENT SIMPLE

We gebruiken de present simple als iets altijd, vaak, regelmatig, soms of nooit gebeurt.

Ontkenningszinnen: Ow + do / does not + hele ww

• I feel good. - I do not / don't feel good.
  
• He looks happy. - He does not / doesn't look happy.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

We gebruiken de present continuous als we willen zeggen dat iets bezig is of aan de gang is op het moment dat we erover praten of schrijven.

Zinnen: Onderwerp (ow) + to be (am / are / is) + werkwoord (ww) + ing

• I am having lunch.
  
• Carl is watching television.
  
• Jake is driving around in his car.
  
• She is talking about her stay in New York.
  
• Charles and Diana are starting a business together.
  
• They are driving to Manhattan as we speak.
  

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

Vraagzinnen: To be (am / are / is) + ow + ww + ing

• Carl is watching television. – Is Carl watching television?
  
• Diana is playing with her toys. – Is Diana playing with her toys?
  
• Jake is driving around in his car. – Is Jake driving around in his car?

PRESENT CONTINUOUS

We gebruiken de present simple als iets altijd, vaak, regelmatig, soms of nooit gebeurt.

Ontkenningszinnen: Ow + to be (am / are / is) + not + werkwoord + ing

• Carl is watching television. – Carl is not (isn't) watching television.
  
• Diana is playing with her toys. – Diana is not (isn't) playing with her toys.
  
• Jake is driving around in his car. – Jake is not (isn't) driving around in his car.

present continuous:
She ............ (walk) to school right now.

Present simple:
She always .... (walk) to school.

Articles (lidwoorden)
