1: Write down the three things a passive sentence should have.
2: Write down the four steps to turn an Active into a Passive sentence.
3: Turn this Active sentence into a Passive one:
We are taking my mother on vacation to Germany next summer.

A Passive sentence should have the following:
  1. The agent is NOT at the beginning of the sentence (or used before the verb)
  2. There is a form of "to be"
  3. The main verb is used in the Past Participle

Write down the four steps to turn an Active into a Passive sentence.

Active to Passive
  1. Check the tense.
  2. Switch Subject and Object.
  3. Add "to be" in tense 1.
  4. Put main verb in Past Participle.
