How many paragraphs should you write?

What is the function of the introduction?

1. introducing yourself, who you are, why you are writing the review
2. To spoil the ending of the movie for the reader and to list every actor and their previous roles in detail.
3. movie title, relevant info about the movie that helps understand your review: setting, theme, main characters, etc.
4. write about my likes and dislikes

In which paragraph should you include your likes?

How do you make the recommendation powerful?

1. Summarise the points you made in the previous paragraphs.
2. give only a rating in numbers of stars
3. connect it to reality/ give food for thought/what can we learn from this movie?

How to sound convincing and make the read enjoyable?

1. I can show my personal opinion in relative clauses.
2. The young actor, who plays his part extremely well, struggles to find new friends at his new school.
3. I love my dog/cat.
4. Moreover, spelling errors tend to distract readers from your message and hurt your grade, so it's worth reading it twice.

What are linking words good for?

1. They link my words. Dah!
2. They help me organize and connect my thoughts and improve the flow of writing.
3. Making my sentences shorter and less detailed.
4. Replacing nouns in a sentence to avoid repetition.
