Persuade means to make people want to buy the product.

• A slogan is a simple, catchy phrase to represent a company
• A good slogan is short and easy to remember
• There are lots of slogans that will you already know!

WOW Words

• WOW words are special adjectives which can make an advert more exciting!
• Regular adjectives can be words like "big", "good" or "green"
• WOW adjectives can be words like "incredible", "amazing" or "delicious"

• Companies use special offers to PERSUADE people to buy their products
• They can reduce the price, or give away products for free
• Can you think of any special offers you have seen?

An opinion

• An opinion is what somebody thinks of the product
• In an advert, it is usually a short sentence that uses WOW words and superlatives (e.g. fastest, most beautiful)
• For example "It's the most incredible tablet ever!"
