It makes it easier to get friends, do sports and become part of Dutch society
It's the official language in many universities in the Netherlands.

Introduction to MYP2 Dutch
  1. Units are about: school, time and health, well being and food, all connected to Dutch and the Netherlands. 
  2. Interactive activities: Games, role-plays, and projects will be part of learning.
  3. Group work activities:  Individual,  in pairs and sometimes in bigger groups to colaborate together and learn with and from eachother.
  4. ATL skills: You are expected to apply a high level of creativity and innovation when completing the assignments in the units. At the same time, you will be improving various ATL skills." What are ATL skills? Why are they important?

Assessments in MYP2
In class we will work with the 4 skills, which we group as follows:

Criteria A: based on listening skills.
Criteria B: based on reading skills.
Criteria C: based on orals skills.
Criteria D: based on writing skills.

Assessments will include presentations, projects and of course regular assessments.                                                                                                              
Every term you will:
- Do formative tasks for each criterion (A, B, C and D).
- Receive feedback for your formatives tasks and reflect on this feedback.
- Be assessed (at least) once per criterion (A, B, C and D).
- Develop ATL skills that will help your performance in class and in real life.
