What is a film review?

• A short article where someone gives their opinion about a film
  
• It describes the film without giving away too much (no spoilers!)
  
• It helps the reader decide: Should I watch this? 
  

What Does a Good Film Review Include?

• Short summary of the film (no spoilers!)
  
• Thoughts on the acting, story, visuals, music 
  
• Personal opinion: what you liked or didn’t like
  
• Recommendation: who would enjoy it?
  

What Does a Film Review Look Like?

• Around 250–300 words
  
• 3–4 short paragraphs with spaces in between!
  
• Clear structure, easy to read
  
• Informal but not messy
  
• Written in first person (“I think…”)
