Future: present simple 

De present simple future gebruik je bij:

- Vaste tijden / rooster / schema / dienstregeling

Vorm van de present simple --> ww of ww+s bij he/she/it

- The movie starts at 20:15, we have time to buy popcorn first.

- This lesson finishes in 30 minutes. 

Complete the sentence:

Present Continuous

                                 am/are/is + verb + ing

• Afspraken waarvan de tijd en/of plaats al vast staat (geregeld)
• We are having dinner at a restaurant at 6.30.
• I am flying to Paris next week.

To be going to of present cont.

Je kende al een future vorm: to be going to. Deze lijkt op hoe de present continuous future gebruikt wordt, maar is wel anders:

- Afspraak die vast staat = present continuous future

    I'm playing videogames this afternoon, I need to relax. 

- plan wat niet vast staat, een intentie = to be going to + ww

    I am going to buy a new car soon

Future will/shall

De future vorm will + heel ww en shall + heel ww wordt gebruikt om iets aan te bieden, iets te beloven, of om voorspellingen te maken (zonder bewijs)     I/we vraag = shall

-The teacher will help you.

- I promise, I will do the dishes tonight. 

- I predict I will ace this test, I studied so hard! 

- Shall I walk the dog tonight?
