Lesson outline: 2 video's: starter video to review concept of alleles and another video on how to draw punnett squares.

Aims:

- create Punnett squares and interpretate simple mono-hybrid crosses

- predict F1 (1st generation) and F2 (2nd generation) genotypic and phenotypic ratio's offspring

- identify co-dominance inheritance

Monohybrid crosses

Use this website and take notes in your notebook on the following concepts:

F1, F2 generation, test-cross

Codominance

Multiple alleles (ABO bloodgroups as an example)

rule/convention: use correct notations as seen in this image

Codominance in flower color

Rule/convention: Capital C indicates that both red and white alleles are DOMINANT
