Open teh holiday review letter and write an email about your holiday. You can use the answers to the questions as your inspiration.

1. Past Simple of “To Be”
I/he/she/it was – I wasn’t – Was I?

You/we/they were – You weren’t – Were you?

2. Past Simple (Regular Verbs)
Use for actions completed in the past.

Regular verbs: add -ed (e.g., walk → walked).

If verb ends in consonant + -e, add only -d (live → lived).

3. Plural Forms
Regular: add -s (star → stars).

Irregular: child → children, tooth → teeth.

No apostrophes in plural (photo → photos, not photo’s).
4. “Could / Couldn’t”
Could: for suggestions or possibilities (We could go.)

Couldn’t: negative form (I couldn’t help you.)

5. Adverbs (e.g., always, never, usually)
Before the main verb: I always eat early.

After “to be” verbs: She is usually late.

In negatives: It is not always easy.

6. Possessives with 's / s'
Singular: add 's (Emma’s book).

Plural:
If word ends in s, add ' (parents’ house).

If not, add 's (children’s toys).
