• De present continuous is een vorm van de tegenwoordige tijd.
• Je gebruikt de present continuous bij gebeurtenissen die:

We are playing in the yard. 

Cathy is waiting for the bus. 

I am calling my grandmother right now. 

vorm van 'to be' + hele ww + ing

Present continuous: spelling

-> ww eindigt op -e -> e gaat weg

dance --> I am dancing

bake --> They are baking a cake

->ww heeft een lettergreep en eindigt op klinker + medeklinker

sit -->  We are sitting

run --> He is running
