Wanneer gebruik je de present continuous?

Je gebruikt de present continous als iets nu gebeurt.

Messi is playing football.
(right now)

Messi plays football.
(but NOT at the moment)

Present Continuous

Let op!

• Change -e to -ing when the verb ends with -e.

Ride --> riding

• Verdubbel de klinker aan het einde als een werkwoord 1 lettergreep is (sit, run, swim, etc.)

Sit --> sitting
Run --> running
