Indirect speech
- Uses quotation marks (" ") to enclose the exact words spoken.
- Maintains the original tense of the verb.
- Preserves the original pronouns. 
- Does not use quotation marks.
- May change the verb tense to reflect a past reporting.
- May change pronouns to reflect the new speaker and the reported speaker.
- May change other words to match the new context.
