Write about a time you convinced someone to do something or buy something or believe something? What was it? How did you convince them? Do you think you are good at convincing people?

Write in their notebooks. Then change the narrative form but girls must write HE like a guy and boys must write SHE and like a girl. 

Have them think of the audience - age? Culture?  etc

Next have them end with a closed question. 

Form a line. Then have them read them out to the class. Ask the question and another uses the book of answers to answer. NEXT
