How to write numbers in English?
Numbers 1 - 10: in words
Numbers higher than 10: in numbers.

1. When can you start a sentence with 'because' or 'so'?
Because I studied hard, I got a good mark for my test. (=correct)
Because I studied hard for the test. (=incorrect, because it is not a complete sentence)
So the students could study from home. (=incorrect)
The books were delivered so the students could study from home. (=correct)

2. When do you use an apostrophe?
It is the boy's jacket. (=correct, there is just one boy)
It is the boys' school (=correct, there are more boys at the school) 
High school library's were closed during covid. (=incorrect)
High school libraries were closed during covid. (=correct, more than one library was closed, so plural)

3. Which tense should you use? Mixing tenses.
When he went to the library he picks up one of his favourite books. (=incorrect, both past simple and present simple are used)
When he went to the library he picked up one of his favourite books. (=correct, both verbs are in the same tense here)

When do you use their and there and they're
It is their book and the book is over there.
When do you use to and too?
I like to go to school. She likes it too.
They're ready for take off.

When you use an auxilary, use the the infinite to go with it.
He didn't thought about it (=incorrect)
He didn't think about it (=correct)
did = auxilary (hulpwerkwoord)
think = infinite (hele werkwoord)

Antarctica (not Antartica)
Antarctica is the opposite of Arctica. 
Arctica is where the polar bear lives. 'Arctic' comes from the Greek word 'arktos', meaning 'bear'. Therefor there are bears on the Arctic and pinguins on Antarctica.

Than = comparison

She liked the first article more than the second.
