Introduction:

• Briefly explain the subject and purpose of your presentation.

What is a mission statement?

A mission statement describes what an organization does, why it exists, and what its main goals are. 

Mission= What we do now/ current purpose

What is a vision statement?

A vision statement describes what an organization wants to achieve in the future.

Vision= What we want to achieve in the future!

Language goals (A2 level)

Example of a written introduction:

Leger des Heils (Salvation Army) is a Christian organization. Its main goal is to help people in need. The main office is at Pieter Calandlaan 254, 1069 AC Amsterdam. There are over 50 locations in the Netherlands. 
They provide services like shelter, help for addiction, and support for young people. It is a non-profit organization.
