(will / (am/is/are) + going to / present simple)

Future tense/ toekomende tijd

3 manieren:

1. will (aanbieden/beloven/aankondigen/voorspellen)
   
2.  (am/is/are) + going to (iets van plan zijn/bewijs dat het gaat gebeuren)
3.  present simple (vaste tijden/ roosters/ dienstregelingen/ reisschema's)

Future tense / Toekomende tijd met will

(iets aanbieden, beloven, aankondigen, voorspelling)

• Gebruik je om te zeggen dat iets in de toekomst zal gaan gebeuren. In het Nederlands gebruik je vaak zal of zullen:
  
• Grammaticaregel: will + hele werkwoord

Bijvoorbeeld:

• In the future people will travel to the moon by shuttle bus. (Voorspelling)
• I will call you right back, I promise. (Beloven)
• I will help you with your homework. (Iets aanbieden)
• I will reach home at 9 pm. (aankondigen)

Toekomende tijd met to be going to 

(iets (van plan om te) gaan doen of bewijs dat het gaat gebeuren)

Gebruik je om te zeggen dat je iets van plan bent. In het Nederlands gebruik je vaak gaan:

• I am going to do some shopping this afternoon.
• They are going to  play tennis tomorrow.

Je gebruikt to be going to ook als je zeker weet dat iets gaat gebeuren omdat je er bewijs voor hebt.

• Look at those dark clouds! It is going to rain.
• My aunt is pregnant. She is going to have a baby.

Toekomende tijd met present simple 

(vaste tijden, roosters, dienstregelingen en reisschema's)

Gebruik je voor:

vaste tijden / roosters / dienstregelingen / reisschema's

• The train leaves at four.
• School starts at 8:25
• At 11 o'clock we have a break.
• The shops close early on Saturday
