Reflexive pronouns

Reflexive pronouns worden gebruikt om te zeggen dat de persoon die de actie uitvoert, deze ook ondergaat.

The subject and the direct object are the same person.

Het onderwerp en het lijdend voorwerp zijn dezelfde persoon.

Reciprocal pronouns

Reciprocal pronouns worden gebruikt om een wederzijdse relatie uit te drukken. Je vertaalt het met "elkaar". 

-to express a mutual relationship. You translate it as "each other"-

Het verwijst naar het onderwerp van de zin.
