How can you record movements?

Stroboscope

Stroboscope is a light source that gives very short flashes of light at regular intervals. 

What is a stroboscopic photo?

1. A few pictures after each other.
2. A flash combined with a camera.
3. A light combined with a camera.
4. A picture that was made in a danceclub.

Time in between flashes is 0.2 seconds. How long does it take before the snowboarder is back on the piste?

Quantity

• Time: t in s
• Distance: s in m
• Speed: v in m/s of km/h

Quantity = what you measure.

Unit = tells you about what quantity you measured.
