Rule: subject + have/has + past participle

Past participle = werkwoord +ed / irregular verbs 4e rij

Key words: just, recently, already, yet, ever, since

Present Perfect

Use: 

• something happened in the past and is still important 

       (link between past and present)

• talk about something that began in the past and is still going
• talk about experiences up till now

Modals = hulpwerkwoorden

Can, could, should, to have to, to be able to, must

Always followed by an infinitive (= verb without to)
