Pay attention!
When forming a negative sentence in the past simple we add the verb "didn't" or "did not" before our main verb.

We already used a past form for "didn't/did not", so we will NOT put our main verb in the past as well.

WRONG: I didn't used the bathroom this afternoon.
RIGHT: I didn't use the bathroom this afternoon.
