What you will learn: What LessonUp's 'channels' are, and where you can find them.
Duration: 3 minutes.

What are channels?

Channels are educational and/or cultural organisations that offer their educational material within LessonUp. Their interactive educational material can provide additional support for subjects such as mathematics or history. Additionally, you will find many social topics that are often not included in your curriculum. These topics include safe internet usage, LGBTQ+ subjects, and much more. These lessons can help you initiate interesting discussions in the classroom.

Where can I find the channels?

Click on 'Channels' in the navigation bar under 'My LessonUp'. There you will find an overview of all the channels in LessonUp. Scroll through the channels, or search for a channel using the search bar.

HOW CAN I USE A CHANNEL LESSON?

When you have found a lesson that you want to use in the classroom, you can teach it directly by clicking on 'Start lesson.' If you want to teach or forward the lesson another time, you can save it to your account by clicking on the 'Save' button. This will create a copy of the lesson in your account.

Before saving the lesson, we recommend reviewing the lesson components, checking the lesson's instructions, and potential attachments related to the lesson. Attachments are often in PDF format, and you can download and print them.

Below is an example of lesson instructions next to a slide and in the form of an attachment.
