What is a homophone?

Two or more words that have the same pronunciation but different meanings, origins, or spelling.

examples: 

new - knew, 

I - eye, 

sea - see

Rearranging the tables

• I would like you to make 4 groups of 4 and 2 groups of 5!
  
• I will challenge you to do this in one minute!
  
• Be careful of each other, keep the volume down as best as you can!

Jeopardy

• With your group, you are going to play Jeopardy.
• Once the question is revealed, you can partake.
• One of your groupmates has to raise their hands for your group to partake. 
• The group who first raises their hand gets to play.
• You will lose points if you answer incorrectly. 

Vocab Game: Preparation

• In preparation of playing the game, you are going to study lesson 2 & 3 from unit 3 (p.100 & p.101 of your coursebook).
• You are going to do this quietly.
• We'll stop after 5 minutes.
