Did everyone turn in their assignment on Tuck Everlasting?

Slide 2 - Slide

I start by taking attendance and making sure that everyone handed in their homework.

Pupils who didn't hand it in will be asked to leave the classroom and work on the book report. I explain that they have to hand it in next lesson, because they didn't do the homework for this class.
What did we do last lesson?
  • Discussed some literary terms:

Theme, plot, and setting.

  • Read the Prologue in Tuck Everlasting.

Slide 3 - Slide

I ask the pupils if they can tell me the definition of the terms. If they don't know, I revise my explanation from last lesson.
Can anyone tell me what is happening is this picture?

Slide 4 - Slide
