-Zojuist of kortgeleden gebeurd (just)
-In verleden 1 keer gebeurd, en/of i.c.m. 'never'
- Dingen die een poosje hebben geduurd, meerdere keren of een gewoonte zijn
- Nadruk op tijdsduur (spreker vindt het lang duren: trots of ergernis) (for hours, all day, for ages etc)
- In verleden gebeurd, gevolg maar alleen indien: een poosje heeft geduurd/meerdere keren/gewoonte. Reden (because) of gevolg (so) wordt vaak genoemd
