Aan het eind van de toets krijg je een cijfer voor Lezen en schrijven A2.
Eerst ga je een e-mail lezen. Hoe kun je informatie filteren?


Dan gaan we kijken naar het schrijven van e-mails. Hoe begin je een e-mail? Hoe groet je af? Wat moet er in staan?

Wat moet je inleveren?
-Onderdeel 1 Reading: Je krijgt van de docent een e-mail toegestuurd op je mailadres. Onder de mail staan vragen over de inhoud van de e-mail. Drie meerkeuze en twee open vragen. Die moet je beantwoorden.

-Onderdeel 2 Writing : Een zelfgeschreven reactie op de e-mail van +- 150 woorden. In de geschreven reactie laat je zien wat je hebt geleerd over het schrijven van een e-mail. Dan lever je het in door de e-mail terug te sturen mét de vragen die je hebt beantwoord + een geschreven reactie in het Engels op de e-mail.

Waar moet je iets inleveren?
- Het eindproduct bestaat dus uit twee onderdelen:
+ E-mail met beantwoordde vragen
+ Reactie op de E-mail. Dit lever je in één keer in door de e-mail met de twee onderdelen naar mij terug te sturen.

- Voor deze toets krijg je twee cijfers. Je wordt hiervoor beoordeelt op:
lezen (e-mail lezen en vragen hierover beantwoorden)
 schrijven (gepaste reactie op een e-mail schrijven)

+ Remember to ALWAYS capitalize your 'I'!! You are important! 'I' is important. 
+ Names of geographical locations, people, days, months, seasons, all start with a capital letter. 
+ Sentences end with a full stop.
+ 'And' combines sentences but doesn't start them.
+ Words that start with a o I u e have 'an' as an article; an apple.

1.  Use standard fonts. (Arial/ Times new roman/ Calibri) 
2. Start with an appropriate greeting

Ordering and taking orders   
In groups of at least 3:
  • You all take turns being the waiter. 
  • Welcome guests, recommend your favourite thing on the menu. 
  • Guests: Look at the menu, you will each have 3 min to prepare, teammates time it.
  • Order at least 3 things per person in English. Full sentences 'I would like..'
  • The waiter writes the orders down. 
  • The waiter repeats the (2/3) orders to the table. Guests check.
