Aims of today
At the end of class

  • I can tell what peer feedback is and why it is important
  • I’ll have practised with writing peer feedback

Slide 4 - Slide

What is peer feedback?

Slide 5 - Slide

Peer feedback is...
When your peer - in this case your classmate - gives you helpful feedback on something you made.

This way, you can learn from each other.

How do I give good peer feedback?

Slide 6 - Slide

Be a critical friend
  • Make sure that your feedback is constructive > it is supposed to be meaningful.
  • Respect each other in your feedback.
  • You share your opinions, suggestions and ideas. There is no right or wrong in all cases.
  • You can always learn from each other. Think about what you can learn from the person you're giving feedback to.

Slide 7 - Slide

Four eyes see more than two:

  • Randomly assigned.
  • Fill out the form thoroughly so it's useful for the person you're writing feedback for.
  • Done? Write down for yourself what you have learnt from this person's writing and how you will use that in your own future work.
