  1. read the topic, explanation, amount of words
  2. read the notes (there are 2, you need to think of 1 yourself)
  3. brainstorm, what do you know? What is your opinion?
  4. make the structure of your essay

Practice makes Perfect
Take a very good look at the example essay and read the topic of the one you are going to write. You have to write an essay following the 5 paragraph rule and structure.

article: telling the reader what you think, mostly about yourself
review: telling what you think about something, for example a book
e-mail: you write an e-mail to someone, this can be informal
