Verbs

Definition: a verb is a word or phrase that describes an action, condition, or experience. 

Examples: write, listen, read, speak, etc.

• He listens. 
• She reads.
• I speak.

Classification of 

Verbs

1. Regular Verbs: they follow a standard conjugation pattern. The verb root (or base form) is the same when conjugated. Example: walk, walks, walking, walked.
