Checklist
1. The gapped sentence should be in the same tense as the lead -in sentence 
2. The gapped sentence has a similar meaning.
3. You can´t change the word given in bold and you have to use it.
4. Pronouns are similar in both sentences. e.g if he is used in the lead-in sentence a male prounoun such as he / him /his needs to be used.
5. The gapped sentence has a subject and a verb.
6. There are between 2 and 5 words in the gap. Contractions count as two  words.

1. Underline which parts in the lead-in sentence corresponds with the gapped sentence.
2. Decide what comes before and after the gap
3. If you need a verb in the gap , find clues about the tense.

5. Consider the grammatical meaning
