Slide 49 - Open question

Development test
  • To check if the perm development time has been sufficient. This test is carried out during the perm development process.
To do this you would:
  • Partially wind a perm roller and push the hair back towards the root.
  • Do this to 3 or 4 areas around the head.
  • A positive result shows an adequate S-bend in a similar size to the roller.
  • If the curl result is not achieved, re-wind the perm rod and develop for a longer period.
