Write a formal letter of 250-400 words.


1. Write down the address (in English) on the left side
2. Write down your address (in English) on the right side
3. Write the date (in English) on the left side
4. Write down the job application title
5. Start with the correct form of address (do you have their name?)
6. Mention the job that you are applying for and where you saw the advert.
7. Give details about previous work experience and responsibilities. Mention any relevant personal interests.
8. Talk about why you are right for the job. List your personal qualities and offer to send a reference.
9. Say when you are available for interview and when you could start work.
10. Say you'll add your CV
11. End with either yours faithfully or yours sincerely (depending on how you start)
12. End with your name + surname
- Write a formal letter of 250-400 words applying for a job that you would like to do.
- Look online for recent job applications.
- It can be a job that you already have or one that you want.
- It can be a part-time job
- Take this seriously.
