Murdered on 31 July 1944 (age 9) in Auschwitsch.

She was of Sinti/Roma descent.

Holocaust?

• Latin: Sacrifice by fire.
• Jews call it the Shoah.
• Jewish for catastrophe.
• The Holocaust was the genocide of 6 million people (mostly Jewish).
• = Mass killing of an ethnic group.
