like

- can be used as a preposition and is followed by a noun, a pronoun or a gerund.  

- It is used to give a comparison. 

Examples: 

He behaves like a clown. 

His new jeans are like ours 

This test is so difficult it’s like pulling teeth. 

as

Can be used a sa preposition to tell you what job or function a person or thing has 

Examples: 

He works as a clown. 

It works as a sort of screwdriver. 

AS or like

                              - + zn of persoonlijke voornaamwoord
