Positive Impacts of Social Media:​

  • Staying Connected, you can talk to your friends and family, even if they are far away.
  • Learning New Things, you can find news and fun facts about the world.
  • Finding Your People, you can join groups with people who like the same things as you or who care about the same causes.

Negative Impacts of Social Media:​

  • Mental Health Problems, seeing perfect posts all the time can make you feel sad, worried, or like you’re not good enough. Some people also get bullied online.
  • Privacy Issues, if you share too much about yourself, strangers might see it or use it in bad ways.
  • Getting Addicted, spending too much time online can stop you from doing homework, sleeping, or spending time with real-life friends.
