Angles on a Straight Line

Angles on a straight line add up to 180°. If given one angle, subtract it from 180° to find the missing angle.

Angles Around a Point

Angles around a point total 360°. Subtract known angles from 360° to find unknown angles.

Angles in a Triangle

The sum of angles in a triangle is always 180°. Use this to find missing angles.

Angles in a Quadrilateral

Angles in a quadrilateral add up to 360°. Use known angles to find the missing ones.

Parallel Lines and Transversals

When a transversal crosses parallel lines, alternate and corresponding angles are equal.

Supplementary and Complementary Angles

Supplementary angles add up to 180°, while complementary angles add up to 90°.
